Depends if you want excitement or indulgence..Hot air balloon ride ,drive a rally car, deep sea diving or a spa break massage facial.Get sponsored for sitting in a bath of beans and use your birthday to bring happiness to others and you will have a great day.
P.S. Hindsight is a great thing,I went to Italy when I was 60 it was very cold but beautiful I wish I had been more adventurous.

My family wanted me to have an all singing all dancing party but that just isn’t me. So for my 60th (3 years ago) my husband took me away to a rather lovely hotel in London which is not far from us, took me for a special Turkish meal then to see “Beautiful” the Carole King Story in the west End. I had a few little tears remembering the old songs but tears of joy!

He bought me a gorgeous Pandora bracelet and charms as well. The following day we left the hotel and went to a little restaurant which had memories for me throughout my life and there were all my kids, my grandchildren, my brothers and sisters were all there waiting for me as well. We hadn’t been together for some time as we are oretty well scattered across the U.K. Husband paid for lunch and everyone paid for their drink of choice apart from a glass of champagne to toast.

I hadn’t particularly wanted anything for my birthday but I so enjoyed it.

My sister is 60 in June and is having a party. I am making her cake. She says it HAS to say 60 on it!

Hope you have a great day whatever you decide to do.
