Another Newbie looking to chat
Watch this postHello Everyone, Like others, I'm finding it incredibly difficult to know where to post! So, let's hope this finds the right place. I'm a 65 year old lady, who has no family, apart from two adult sons. It would be nice to know there are other people on the planet! I like animals, art and photography....and have been involved with the mental health environment for many years; hoping to get to chat soon x

I am 64 and had to leave work recently due to my health. I have a 92yr old mother lives a couple of minutes away. I divorced in 1992 which was horrendous. He brainwashed my 11yr old daughter turned her against me telling her everything was my fault. I divorced him for having an affair with the child minder. I guess she still has a massive chip on her shoulder, had to tell her a few years ago to stay away from me as she was so mentally abusive.
It has been incredibly hard, my brother lives up north.
I have two rescue cats who are getting on in years, I have just joined a photography club, not driving makes it difficult to get to places. My health has given me depression. Getting help and support is a nightmare. Hopefully thing will get sorted soon. Having somewhere to chat about different things is nice, even if no one replies. You can get things off your chest. Or help others.
I’m a tad confused by this place, I was expecting a big chat room where everyone talks to eat other! Not post stuff in the hope someone replies. I too have no family apart from my partner and their family. We have 3 cats, I too love animals ( more than humans ). I struggle to get out and about to do things as I had a stroke in 2013 and life seems to have gone downhill since. I have MH issues but I seem to have found the culprit of those issues and try not to think/ dwell on it. I do hope to hear from you if I haven’t bored you to tears....
With new people here, I think that confusion is an automatic response! It's difficult with a forum, isn't it. Not quite the same as a chat room.
So sorry to hear that you have had a stroke, with life going downhill. It seems as if you are trying your best to get the most out of life now.
