Anyone in East Sussex interested in starting a travel group in my local area?

Hi. I am 59, recently retired and live in Bexhill-on-Sea. I am happily married but my wife is spending her time at university leaving me with time on my hands. I would like to travel but not on my own. Would anyone be interested in getting together to discuss some travel ideas - anywhere considered from UK to wherever. Funds not unlimited but being economic and find bargains is part of the fun. I'm new to this lark so apologies if I have left out any vital information.

Good morning! Just a thought - have you looked at your local U3A website to see if they have a Travel group? I live in North Yorkshire and occasionally go on holidays with my U3A Travel Group and the Gardening Group. The group leaders arrange local pick-ups, if it's a coach holiday, and car-sharing to the airport when flights are involved. I have had some very enjoyable trips to Scotland, Cornwall and Sussex at reasonable prices. Might be worth investigating? 🙂
