Artificial Pauses
Watch this postWhile I watch very little telly, I like Strictly Come Dancing, but in common with other programmes of the genre it will have those pauses prior to a decision. I find them artificial. There's enough of a lead-up to give suspense. Extending it by a lengthy silence is merely annoying in my opinion. What do others think? Keith

1) I expected an announcement last night on Will Young's departure but didn't hear one. Did I blink and miss something or is there an embarrassed cover-up gong on?
2) Does anyone agree that a revision of the scoring system is long overdue. If there are two weak contestants then it's fair to each. If it's a strong one against a weak one then it's not.
I'm not against the public vote but its influence seems too strong.
(Sorry, I think I made this point before but I've added a point here.)
Keith
1) They really need to do something about the scoring system. Laura and Tameka shouldn't have needed to dance off for at least three weeks.
2) While I'm not a great fan of The Apprentice I do watch it some times. For me it's an order of magnitude more annoying than the worst annoyances of Strictly Come Dancing. The introductory programme was beyond belief.
