Ballroom /Latin American dancing

Hello I've just joined Silversurfers today and I'm totally confused as to how to use this website but I'm having a go anyway. I'm on my own now and haven't danced for nearly forty years but would love to start again but am finding it impossible to find somewhere to go without a partner. Has anyone any suggestions..... clean ones, not rude ones please!!

Thank you, although I've just looked for salsa dancing and the nearest one appears to be 25miles away in Brighton. I'll keep trying anyway. Nobody in Littlehampton seems to want to dance.

Oh, I forgot to say I don't really want lessons as I passed all my medal grades in both ballroom and latin american (bronze, silver, gold, gold cross and gold bar) but stopped when I got married as my husband didn't dance. I know I've probably forgotten most of it but can remember enough to get by. I just really want to go to something like tea dances or evening dances but don't like the thought of walking in alone and being the 'spare one'.

Welcome to the site,

Try ceroc or salsa neither needs a partner, ceroc is modern jive and very easy to pick up. Try looking in the internet for modern jive lessons near where you live. Great fun and better than the gym - have fun
