Best Flight Socks?

We are travelling for the first time to visit the children in Australia - we have been advised to wear flight socks. Have found numerous on the internet - with feet/without feet/ some stop at the knee/others above the knee. Could anyone please tell me which are the best?

It's hard to say which is best for you. You need to make a choice based on the doctor's advice, especially the compression level that suits you (this is very important). I use compression socks with compressions on the feet and legs so that blood does not collect on the feet. Most of these brands have good comfort: https://www.gearhunder.com/best-compression-socks-for-men/

Margie. I use the longer with full foot. They suit me but I have to say personally that yes I wear them, I find that being told to sit still for long periods , it can still be harrowing for the legs regardless. Do find a pair but what is important here is to drink lots of water. Plenty, even if you are using the bathroom regularly. The walking excersising is what will help enormously.

Good advice Jenninora and like you I always used the longer with full foot. Also comfortable fitting shoes as your feet can swell and you may have difficulty putting shoes back on even when wearing flight socks.
