Looking to have a laugh and lark about.

Not enough laughter in today’s world.

Got a deaf dog because I am half deaf too.

Retired, but have a nice little part-time job.

I agree about laughter too. Not enough of it. I remember splitting my sides but that hasn't happened for a while. I'm a quarter deaf and am thankful for subtitles nowadays.

Hi Marj

Yes, a really good laugh does you the world of good. Wish there was more of it about.

I think since covid we have all got more serious, miserable, grumpy and self- obsessed. I hope it soon goes back to how it was before.

Best wishes,

Val

I totally agree that we elders just don't laugh enough, and I think it has something to do with not having opportunities to play, like we did as kids. -- when we ran around playing tag and rolling on the ground laughing. I recently joined a drumming group, which I love, but it's nothing to laugh about. It's not just a matter of telling jokes. I haven't been able to figure out what happened to that enjoyment of engaged play that we had as kids. What can we replace it with?
