Blogging

I have started a blog around retirement and still have much to learn about the world of blogging. Does anyone else out there maintain a blog? I would like to share tips, advice and gentle critical feedback with other bloggers. If you want to check out my blog and let me know your thoughts , the address is https://johnretired.blogspot.co.uk

Hi Jonzo, fellow blogger! I've had a look at your blog and it's good, really good. I like your straightforward style and how you talk about retirement as it is. I'm pretty certain that it will appeal to a lot of others out there, those who are retired and those who are getting ready to face that day. I'm a little way off of that yet but when I do I think I shall look on it by using one of your suggestions - 'The phase of golden opportunities' - love it!

Hi Jonzo, I have just read your blog and congratulate you, I've been retired for four years now and it never dawned on me to record my thoughts and feelings. Mind you, if it had I still wouldn't have done it but did enjoy reading yours.

I'm sure I am not alone in being able to empathise with you, I worked in the NHS for 47 years and I did miss that feeling of being 'needed'. However, I saw retirement as just another phase in my life and set out to be as grumpy as possible and I have taken to the role very well.

I look forward to reading more of your blog and welcome to this site.
