Hello All. I'm new on here and live in Spain. Anyone fancy a chat? Either on this page or on the private chat page.

Hello again Smileysue, I´ve just commented on another of your posts when I spotted this thread. You have answered my question, I can now see you are in the Canary Islands. I´ve been once to Lanzarote, we stayed right down in the south, it was beautiful, the scenery is very dramatic.

Hello MollysMum, I´m no longer an ex-pat, we returned home after 25 years living & working in Spain, we now have a holiday home south of Alicante which is fantastic for quick getaways when the weather gets too much for us here in the cold & windy north east of England. My husband´s just flown off this morning, I´m still working 2 days a week & unfortunately couldn´t get the time off work, so no fun in the sun for me this week. Whereabouts in Spain are you?

Hi Solos Mum.

We are in Almeria province, about 2 hours south of Alicante. It is a very unspoilt part of Spain, retaining much of the original charm. We have been here 10 years and wouldn't change it for the world.

Shame you couldn't get here this week - the weather is looking nice for the weekend.
