Children taking holiday in term time

What are your views about children taking holiday in school term time? Have parents got a right to take their children out of school? Is it right that schools fine parents? What do you think about this and all the related issues? How would parents feel if their child’s class teacher decided to take their holiday in the middle of term time because it’s cheaper?

When my children were of school age I took them Aboard a few times but I went to the school, I saw the Headmaster at that time and got my Daughters home work for that period, they did there home work on the flight to and from the holiday, it was as easy as that at that time.

When they went back to school they handed in there home work and were still at the same level as they would have been had they not had a holiday so the answer is see the Headmaster take the work with you make you children do the home work end of story.
