Climbing Plant Advice/Suggstions

Need a bit of advice/suggestions. A fence panel at the bottom of my garden is close to collapsing but my neighbour (who the fence panel belongs to) is unwilling to replace it. I am thinking of putting in a perennial climbing plant(s) to hide this horror. Growing frame can be added on my side and the panel is approx 7' high and similar width.

What plant could cover this? Regards,

Ivy or honeysuckle would be my choice both fast growing, I used them together on a long fence, make sure the honeysuckle is the evergreen variety.

Many years ago grew Clematis Montana which was fast-growing in my garden and produced hundreds of pinkish-white flowers in late spring.

I had a similar situation and built a trellis on my side of the fence.
I trained an already established Akebia vine on to the trellis and a year later you can't even see the trellis, let alone the fence behind it.
I am in British Columbia, Canada, but I know our climate is vey similar to that of the UK.
It is a very vigorous grower and you need to keep on top of it, but I am more than happy with the results.

Clematis: Clematis is a popular climbing plant that comes in a variety of colors and can grow up to 20 feet in length. They prefer well-drained soil and full sun to partial shade.

Honeysuckle: Honeysuckle is a fragrant climbing plant that can grow up to 20 feet in length. They prefer well-drained soil and full sun to partial shade.

Climbing roses: Climbing roses are a classic option for covering a fence panel. They come in a range of colors and prefer well-drained soil and full sun.

Wisteria: Wisteria is a beautiful climbing plant that produces cascading clusters of fragrant flowers. They prefer well-drained soil and full sun.

Jasmine: Jasmine is a fragrant climbing plant that can grow up to 30 feet in length. They prefer well-drained soil and full sun to partial shade.

Hi Bricktop. Probably a better bet to put hedging in, because climbers by their very nature tend to go upwards rather than bushing out to provide privacy. Also I think most decent climbers tend to be deciduous and you'd want something that keeps its foliage all year round. Cotoneaster comes to mind, although it can take a while to get high enough. Try Googling "perennial hedging shrubs" and include your geographical location if possible. Whatever you do, I'd advise you to AVOID cupressa leylandii - you do get privacy but it's a thug that just keeps on growing (upwards and outwards), giving you an annual pruning marathon - it's one of the biggest bones of contention between neighbours!
