We thought we'd give the Kenco 'just add hot water' latté a try, and found that we really enjoy it. At just £1.50 for 8 cups in most supermarkets. It's a lot cheaper than the Tassimo we were regularly using previously. They make several different types of coffee but we prefer the latté.

I love my coffee & don’t find ‘instant’ hits the spot, I drink mine black with no sugar.
I have tried a number of ‘pod’ machines & whilst they give you a reasonable cup, it does cost an exorbitant amount to brew yourself. I have tried filter & caffietiers but I find that I make to much or use to much coffee bean.
I now have a ‘NINJA’ machine & use Asda’s own coffee at around £1.25 per pack. It makes coffee exactly how I like it, will make a number of sized quantities from a small cup to a flask full. I have tried a number of other coffees in the machine, all have made a very good cup, just needed to adjust the amount of ground coffee used. The only other requirement you need to buy are filters but they are not that expensive.
I’d recommend the machine to anyone.

I have two cafetieres. One makes two cups and the other four. I like that I can just buy any filter coffee for them and, occasionally, I buy the beans as I have a coffee grinder thing. I did have a coffee machine which used pods but they were expensive and the right ones were not always easy to find.

I tend to make a pot of coffee on Sundays so the sell of fresh coffee always reminds me of Sunday mornings. 🙂

I that sounds like I was a few years ago but I decided that I needed to cut down on my intake, making cup after cup, sometimes up to 20+ cups a day, took some doing & now I'm down to 2 very large cups. My daughters buy me coffee for Christmas or birthday which goes through my grinder.

We have both a percolator and a Tassimo, the percolator is used the most as we both drink black coffee on the whole ( we don’t buy milk as I have a milk allergy and OH got fed up of throwing the milk out!) The Tassimo is used for guests so they can have a latte or cappuccino (as the milk comes with it!).

I had a Cappuccino machine which needed a scientific degree to in order to operate it.
Clearly it was the boss in the house, unpredictable, going off in all directions, steam resembling a sauna, quite frightened me.
I then bought a Cafetiere, found coffee bags, so easy peasy, less drama and really nice coffee.
For Purists and Coffee Guru's, coffee bags may be looked at askance, but then I am a neanderthal when it comes to coffee. Still, it tastes like coffee!

After having almost every type there is, I'm now using a " hot pot" which boils water in a few seconds, then pour it over the coffee which is in a filtered holder into a carafe, or right into a mug.

I've had two Keurig machines; both broke after about a year and couldn't really clean it well enough. It always stays wet and no faster than the hot pot.
