Computer games

I am new here. Thought I would drop in and see if anyone can suggest things to do on the computer for over 60's I love hidden object games and my favourites are Letters from Nowhere 1 and 2 but I have played them to death ! Difficult to find ones as good I have tried doing my family tree but didn't get very far ( not that interested to be honest) and found it very time consuming to get not very far I am female, married, I knit, read and do crosswords but would like to broaden my horizon. All suggestions welcome

May I recommend Amazon Underground for free games on the kindle? There are dozens of free games to download and play, from word games to hidden object games. I waste hours.......!

Hi Babs, I'm a bit obsessed with sudoku. I play it on my iPad but be warned it does get a bit obsessive!
I also play an online scrabble game called Lexulous, which is great. You can play against a machine or a friend or an anonymous opponent.

Hi Babs, like FelicityM. I too enjoy Sudoku but I suggest you download ROOM followed by ROOM2.
These will certainly keep the brain cells active. I have them on my ipad and find it makes plane journeys pass in double quick time - but expect a few frustrations along the way.
If you decide to try them I'd be interested to hear your thoughts.
In the meantime I'll take a look at Letters from Nowhere.
I have to admit though, that if I want relax for an hour or so, I just have to go play golf against Tiger Woods on the PS3 which my lads left behind!!!

Well twobikemike ... I have just spent the last 2 hours playing The Room, and think I may be addicted. Thanks for recommending, I think I'm hooked! (Have to stop for a bit as my head hurts from too much thinking)

Hi FelicityM., glad you're enjoying it - for now.
I've completed both in the past and am now partially into The Room again. However, I'm stuck and have been for three days. It's certainly a game you can play a second time unless you have a phenomenal memory.
Think I'll go back to Pinball for awhile.

Room Complete, now on to Room 3. Quite relieved to see there is a Room 3 on the App Store!!

Seems it's no match for you.

Apologies, I made a mistake. I haven't completed 2 yet but am having a lot of fun trying!!

Wasn't playing continually so hard to tell, maybe 2 to 3 hours
