Cruising is fun - but certainly not alone...

Dear Silversurfers Being new here, I don‘t know the „good tones“ yet, but willing to learn. I love, love, love cruising, but certainly not alone. I am an almost 70 years young gentleman, European, open, still willing to learn and explore the world and always eager to see new places and have fun in life. I really would love to get in contact with, if ever possible, ladies 😀 , and maybe we would somehow work out to enjoy a good cruise, wherever it would take us, together. Thank you for your attention and I hope to meet someone who shares the fun, excitement and adventure you feel, when you walk the gangway up to the cruise ship!

I lost my husband two years ago after being together for 47 years. I love cruising and one day I hope to do a world Cruise

To FarmerPam
Keep your dream alive Pam. I lost my husband a number of years ago and I kept travelling with the first trip travelling solo. I still at times travel solo, but more often now with family or friends. It just takes more planning. Hope that your wish for a world cruise turns into reality.

Hello Maggie. I read your post and you stated that you have done world cruises and loved them. Currently I'm scheduled to take the 117 nite Queen Mary 2 cruise departing NY in Jan. 2023. I have a balcony booked, but I would love to have a cabin mate. Please contact me if you are interested.
Thanks. [email protected]

I am very interested. I live in Florida currently on a farm. I've been to many places around the world and I would like to see more.

I’ve never been on a cruise. My husband wouldn’t consider it. It was the wilderness with no extra human contact for him…except for me, of course!
I’d love it if someone could explain what it’s actually like on a cruise ship. I imagine enforced company of heavy drinkers and far too much to eat but I might be quite wrong. Half of me thinks what an easy and safe way for a widow to travel and the other half says Don’t even think about it.
Personal tales would make a fascinating read. Thank you cruisers in advance.

I have been on a few cruises and always enjoyed them. There are all sorts of people on there, lots of couples and plenty of singles too. I think they are very safe and just like being in a hotel that moves to a different place each night.
