Dangerous dog

4 month old baby savaged to death and brother left with life changing injuries by staffie like dog. Another fatal dog attack on a baby. When will this madness end?  I can't remember one incident like this when I was growing up. Just the postman getting bit Or a cozzer every now and then

I totally agree Goodeone and I'm a animal lover. Trust no dog with children of any age no matter what size or breed. My son has a staffie/Rhodesian Ridgeback cross a beautiful well trained dog, but if my grandchildren are here we have to put him in the kitchen sometimes especially if the girls (both 12 years old) are being silly and screaming. He would most certainly bite, as he thinks someone is getting hurt and does not know who to protect. As you say common sense.

I have 2 Staffies and I love them dearly, but I would not dream of leaving them alone with a new baby and a toddler! As you say jeanmark yet another tragedy blamed on the dog!

I have to agree with Dollie, when will people realise that dogs do not think the way we do however long they have been a family pet. Once again such a tragedy will be blamed on the animal.
