Disneyworld Fans

Disneyworld is so addictive for some adults, even more than for kids. Staying in a Disney resort really makes the trip. I've taken my son and his family, a trip that left me broke, but it was such a great vacation. Disneyland would be way more practical for me, but can't talk the rest into trying it. Disneyworld is such a huge place that they feel that Disneyland would not compare.

I’ve been to both, twice to DL, more times than I can count to WDW, starting several decades ago. So, a bit of an addict. 😉 DL is indeed much smaller, and there is quite a bit in common with WDW Magic Kingdom park. But plenty is unique, there is a different “vibe” (more American, less International), and of course outside the park gates Florida and California are very different indeed! I’d sell it more for the California aspects; gentler weather, different experiences. If you’ve been in the time since your post, it’d be good to hear what you thought of it!
