Walking is the best activity when older. It gets the heart beating faster in a controlled manner. I have slight furring in the heart so I can determine if angina is going to start up. Running I would not recommend (at any age!) as it stresses all the organs with that pounding up and down pressure. Biking I am not sure about as one is sitting and squashing a delicate part of one's anatomy!

I keep fit by mountain biking a lot. We live by the North Downs and about twice a week take the Bike out for about an hour. It gives a great workout and unlike running has no impact on your legs. Many friends who used to play football when younger have dodgy knees and biking helps as its low or no impact
