Hi Fran: My name is Lynn and I live in Ontario, Canada. I don't know if you're looking for penpals from across the sea, but I would love to chat and learn about life on your side! i too have lost many friends because of many moves and broken marriages. But I keep my chin up and know there's still happy days out there for me to enjoy.

I have many interests including playing the organ, painting, cross-stitch, just to name a few. I am a shut-in due to a back injury, so a penpal would be most welcome!

Good morning Fran and Sandra

Please may I join your little chats? I am a fed up old woman, who, this morning decided to look on line for a pen pal.
I live in Wiltshire, on Salisbury Plains, I have an old, deaf working cocker called Cass, who has been with me 13 years. I sadly lost my other dog (pictured) last year but I have been looking after my sons dog recently as the rescue dog he recently got is proving to be rather challenging!! My son lives in Yorkshire and my daughter in Essex and the remainder of family also live in Yorkshire, so until the pandemic I was either visiting or had visitors.
I used to think I was a good gardener until I moved here, and now know I'm hopeless. Obviously my last house had really good growing conditions so had nothing to do with me! I will keep trying though..
I hope I have done this right as not tried this before.
Hope you have a good weekend

Hi I am from the usa. My email is [email protected] feel free to drop me a line! I love painting and birdwatching, but overall I'm pretty boring. I am very close to my large loving family. I still get lonely though as they all get kind of too busy for me. I just turned 50.

Sorry to hear you’re fed up, Ruth. It has been a long haul stuck at home.
I loved your gardening comments. My garden started off wild and I was determined to get some order as well as be wildlife friendly. The result...a jungle! I’ve paid a gardener this week to do some heavy stuff and the result is amazing. I can find the oil tank and the washing line! Forty pounds well spent.
I’ll chat with you any time. Dani.

Hi Sandra,
Lucky you getting your hair done, my hairdresser is solidly booked till first week in May. Never mind I can wait.
Its been a beautiful day here today although the forecast is not good for next week.
Where about in Lancashire do you live?
I am looking forward to a 4 day break in Anglesey, North Wales in May. Its not a holiday as my brother died on 27th March and due to lock down I was not allowed to go to Wales. So my daughter and I are going to go to the grave to say our goodbyes. Can see my niece and nephew hopefully while we are there.
Enjoy the rest of your week.

Fran

Hi Sandra,

Another sunny day although its quite breezy.
I live in Plymouth in Devon, by the sea. I was born and brought up in Taunton, Somerset, and moved to Plymouth in 1981. I always remember it as the Sunday before Charles and Diana got married.
Hopefully we will know soon where we can go on holiday to. Have you travelled a lot?

Hope you had a good day.

Fran
