If god created the universe, where was he immediately before his creation?

The universe is infinite, so there can be nothing outside of it, so where must the 'creator' have been?

But surely everyone knows that god was really a woman.
Response from jeanmark made on 31st Aug 2016 19:03:27
No way joanairey, a woman would never rest on a Sunday!
Response from jeanmark made on 1st Sep 2016 13:00:26
No Dollie, I think 'she' would recognise you need men as well just to make the world more interesting.
Response from jeanmark made on 1st Sep 2016 18:34:58
Then we have to agree to differ Dollie, I find men much more interesting than watching paint dry. Maybe God was a man and he created woman to give men a challenge!

Why would a woman not rest on Sunday?

Tongue in cheek celtwitch, and does a young mother ever have a day of rest? I'm not a mother so have no experience in this area.

In the pub. Then he had one of those great ideas you get after a couple of pints and before he knew it - Creation!

Yes you are right we are not controlled by our five senses but we are limited to what perceive as reality .

Valid point - perception is everything

Why assume that God (if such an entity exists) was female or indeed male for that matter?

Who created this time and space you speak of ?
Response from celtwitch Original Poster made on 30th Aug 2016 07:53:54
We may never know, but it wasn't a `who.`

Hello celtwitch
I'm enjoying the exchange of views , I would like to continue but I feel it would only confuse everyone who is stuck in the box . When everything is seen as in only human terms and constrictions of human intellect , we feel so safe and secure in the knowledge of the material world and for some that is enough in fear that any further knowledge that would break the seal of what we perceive as reality . To be honest I don't think this is the right platform to be speaking of such things .be blessed

The universe is infinite , before the universe as we know was created , that's where God was , everything is about vibration . Every molecule contains its own vibration , you can even break it down to the smallest chemical , down to the atom , dark matter . Even in the darkness there is different levels of darkness ,which hold its own vibration . Before a grain of sand could develop there had to be the very essence in the beginning . God is not male but also female , hence the saying Mother Earth .

Scientists are now speculating that we live in a multi-universe. One with a number of universes 10 followed by 500 0s. To understand god more I would quote Carl Sagan one of the cleverest men who ever lived..a scientist, mathematician and physicist... "there is a message for us in a mathematical equation". If you consider that...and it seems impossible as its the actual fabric of the universe ...then you can see nothing is impossible.....

Hello Wilf
I'm in total agreement with you , there are many worlds , universe far beyond our limited human mind can comprehend and even if we were given this information now ou little brain would not be able to contain never mind recieve the information. We live in our world control by our five senses , there many levels of sounds , light , colour . I work with spirit and what I've been seen ,would blow people's minds .there are many worlds .

The universe is time and space, nothing can exist outside of time and space, so how could something that 'created' the universe be outside of it? It's impossible, even for 'gods.'
Ergo, there is no god.

The world is NOT controlled by our 5 senses...we perceive the world THROUGH those senses.
And, what do ou mean by 'spirit?'
