I don't have grandchildren in Australia but I do have a grandson in Hong Kong and can appreciate the frustration and sense of loss at not being able to play a bigger part in their lives. I never imagined both my children would end up getting married and living on the other side of the world. Thank goodness for video calls.

We have both children and all our grandchildren living in Sydney, no prospects of seeing them soon
