Greetings From Michigan

Looking forward to meeting new folks. Learning my way around. I'm retired and bored. I enjoy swimming, bike riding, walking around the village. I've a black & tan Pomeranian named Paisley, we walk most days, she was a rescue dog from horrible conditions. We are still getting acquainted, I rescued her in February. I've a small garden with flowers & herbs.

Hello PaigesWords...what an unusual username! Welcome to Silversurfers, I've been a member for several years now and tend to dip in and out depending whether I'm busy or not, usually on wet weekends!
I too have two rescue dogs, the latest one has been with me for 4 months and is terrified of most things but slowly and surely we will get there as I'm sure your little dog will too.
Hope you enjoy your experience on here.

Hello, PaigesWords, welcome to Silversurfers! Your little dog sounds cute - well done for rescuing her. It sounds as though she is quite timid - no doubt due to the conditions she used to live in. Dogs are a great way to make friends as nearly everyone (over here in the UK) will speak to dog-owners whilst they are out walking. What kind of flowers and herbs do you grow? Since starting a flower arranging class, I have been trying, with varied success, to grow plants which are suitable for cutting. Hope to see you joining in with the comments on the topics which interest you - and, if you can't find one, you could always start one of your own! 🙂
