Watch this postHi I've just joined on here so thought I would dip my toe in and introduce myself. I am fast approaching 60 which I find a bit scary! I live in Hertfordshire, not in paid employment now but work voluntary for Age UK and also Herts Hearing, both jobs are very rewarding. I love my pets, one cat and two dogs....the dogs keep me fit as they insist on going out in all weathers! Are there any other members here from Hertfordshire?

we've just joined so it,s nice to say hello.My husband,john davies,and I are both retired and we have a 12 year old cocker spaniel called roscoe who keeps us fit when we take him for walks up the nearby lickey hills.from up there you get a nice view of Birmingham and soon the bluebells will be out making it a lovely place to visit.I play a washboard in our recently formed skiffle band which is called 'the 6-5 specials skiffle band' and we try and play to raise funds for our individual charities.you can see us on youtube under that name and soon on april 15th you can see us on bbc4 talking about 50,s music on a programme series called 'the people's history of pop'.
