Hello, just joined and finding my way round.

I live in the Uk and my hobbies are walking, reading and Genealogy. I have researched my husband's tree as well.


We have two tabby cats, rescued 3 years ago now, a year after I said no more cats we were too old!

Have just joined this forum and looking forward to being a silver surfer. My interests are mainly painting genelogy appreciation of the country side walking and living live.

Hello Chrissa, Among a lot of other activities, I too enjoy walking, reading, and genealogy. Lately, I’ve been spending way too much time on genealogy, and really should be walking more. Unfortunately, I’ll never be teased again about being thin! I’m in the US and wondering if many people in your area have been getting their DNA tested. I received results from ancestry and there were no surprises, just percentages.

Hi Debbie nice to hear from you. It's a long, long time since the thin word applied to me! I've not bothered with DNA but I know many folk have. Most if not all my research is in the UK . Also researched my husband's tree and found Huguenots on both his maternal and paternal side.
