Hello - looking for like-minded members

I'm new here so just saying hello.


I was born in the UK. but decided to go traveling.  After living abroad for over 20 years I moved back to England but to an area new to me, ( North East England ) and was immediately locked down due to the Coronavirus. I don't know anyone here, the restrictions have been lifted but I still don't feel it's safe to go out to pubs etc. to meet people and I can't anyway because we still have to distance.


So I'm stuck here on my own not knowing a soul...... wouldn't mind someone to chat to....................

I'm sure there are plenty of like-minded people here - but how are they to know when your opening post gives so little information about you. We all find it easier to chat when we have some idea of who we are chatting to, but your username gives no clue and you have no profile photo.

So tell us a bit about yourself. Are you male/female, working/retired? Do you have children/grandchildren/both/neither? Have you been living in Europe/U.S./Middle East? Do you have any hobbies/pets/phobias? Are you (like me) lefthanded?
