Introducing myself

I am female looking to make friends. I recently relocated to Henderson Nevada from Brentwood, CA. I left Brentwood after three of my best friends relocated. All of my plans to meet new people and make new friends have been dashed by the Coronavirus, because I have been sheltering in place since I moved here.
I have been getting settled in my new place, and my son introduced me to Zoom so that the family can enjoy regular online meetings. I am optimistic about the future, and when things open up again, I would love to connect with some new friends from this site. If you would like to chat online, I would love to connect.

I live in Birmingham UK. I enjoy chatting about different things (food and cooking mainly) I have just returned to work after being furloughed and boy is it peculiarly strange. Lots of changes to get used to.
