I've Just joined so I'm introducing myself

My name is Pauline, I live in Essex, in a Village close to the River Crouch. I retired after working 16 years as a Pre-School Supervisor. I went to College to get Certificates and really enjoyed it after so long. Believe I was the oldest in our group, but nobody really talked about age. I loved working with children having done it all of my life. I was a Nurse on a Children's ward that looked after severely disabled children. I then married and had 4 children of my own. Now have 6 grandchildren. I play short mat bowls twice a week as a pastime and a good opportunity to socialise with people of similar age.

Welcome to the site, I live in Hertfordshire and joined a couple of months ago, I found the site a bit of a minefield when I joined but it will become easier and everyone here seems to be very friendly.
