Just joined

Hi All I have just discovered Silversurfers, I am 68 years, I have 4 children 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. I have several hobbies, I sing in a acapella choir and quartet, I play the ukulele with a great group of people, I enjoy reading and knitting/crocheting. Up until last year I rode a large motorbike around the country. Unfortunately arthritis made me give it up. I am a great believer in enjoying life when you can as life is too short to wait till tomorrow. I retired from being a midwife 3 years ago and have recently (6 months ago) started a job in my local B&Q .

Hi Everyone, A friend suggested I join this site because I am bored since I am disabled and for the most part homebound. I do some crafts, play computer games, read and write poetry, and have a few phone friends and e-mail friends. I don't have any friends in the area in which I live. I am divorced and have no children. I live alone in an apartment in my Sister and Brother-in-law's house. Well, that's about it for now.
