Just joined - looking for like minded friends

Hi everyone, decided to join today,

I lost my husband recently so feel very alone, sadly because of his long term illnesses I became very isolated, would very much like to join in chats or speak to other people who are going through the same feelings.

Hi Midnight

I am too, sorry to hear of your loss. It sounds like you have had a tough emotional time and of course it is still early days.

I hope chatting on here you can make friends. The effect of lockdown on those who have had a loss can make it harder for you to try and build your life around your loss.

I hope you are finding things to do every day as that is the best thing you can do. Do you have a pet that can give you some purpose and company. Any hobbies maybe when you feel up to it.

You have to take each day as it comes and reach out if you need to. In time you do get stronger, never forget of course.

Update us all as to how you get on.

Hi Pettis,so very sorry for your loss.
Yes like yourself and so many others,am finding it so hard to adjust,I had hoped that it would get easier, but in fact it gets harder everyday, which I why I decided to bite the bullet and join this website, many subjects to hopefully get chatting to someone about.
Take care
