Hello mom26, i just joined silversurfers after years of my children and friends telling me I need to "get out there". This is all new to me, I'm very private. I hope we both meet some nice people to chat with.

Hi mom26, looks like you have already got yourself a few new friends,be proud of yourself for getting on silver surfers. I have just joined myself,so we can learn how to navigate our way around the site.
I live in uk,married to my lovely husband Philip. Both retired, although the we have just returned from Egypt where we carry out aid work with our own charity. Our projects have been education and healthcare, multi faith based enabling children from poor and needy families the chance to gain an education.
We have both enjoyed our time in Egypt. I hope to hear from you .regards Brenda

Hi Mom26 how exciting to live in New York.I have visited twice and loved it although I got very upset to see space where the twin towers had been.A man was playing a lament on bagpipes and I couldn't stop my tears.I am a 77 year old widow with two sons and a beloved grandson and gorgeous granddaughter all of whom live a distance away so we keep in touch by Face Time.I can't say I get lonely but I feel alone at times so would be happy to chat anytime.
