Sheffield is changing rapidly. There is a lot of building work going on in the City Centre. I can imagine you wouldn't recognise it.
I am from the East End of Sheffield.. What about you?

There are lots of nice things in the City Centre this Xmas. There is a big wheel, xmas markets etc.
Mac Donalds went fromthe Moor, Debenhams too. John Lewis gone, most of the big stores. THe Moor is the main shopping area, with Fargate still having some shops too. There is also a banking quarter near to the Moor.
Anyhow will see if this comment appears!

hope you aren't being battered by the storms today! It is not very good weather here, Very Rainy. But will bring my own sunshine. Im off to meet a friend later for cocktails so should be fun.

I get the feel that this is a friendly site and able to make friends of all ages from your age upwards.
I haven't been taking any notice to be honest. What will be will be.
I am a worrier but I think its time to just get on with things.
I am usually busy with 1 thing or another and have too young adults , my Son and Daughter that take time up in my head!

Do you work? I work part time. I like to keep fit, love fresh air and being mindful of beautiful sutrroundings. I like Theatre, Community projects....could go on but will see if you reply.

Im not tech savvy either. I work in admin too 3 days a week, 1 day in the office, 2 at home.
I have been going out to shows etc recently and during the end of Lockdown, including some holidays.
Basically I find everything is happening as was before covid. Restrictions in the main all gone. I always wear my mask but not many do,
I am not letting it stop me doing anything I want to do as within reason I believe we have to carry on.
I am usually busy with 1 thing or another and do have a family with young adults so to be fair I am exposed to their "social life" activity as well as they are not as concerned or worried as older people are. On the other hand there are a lot of older people who seem to think "to hell" with the masks etc.
Each to their own I guess.
Strange times.

Sorry for the delay. I have been busy as well. We had tech problems at work. I also have taken on a job taking minutes which is new to me and it has taken me absolutely ages!!!! Ridiculous. I am waiting for them to be sent back and then I have to amend...
I take on too much at times and should say no more.
Yes it is important to go out for mental health. Wear a mask in Public.
Don't go anywhere too busy.
It's a tricky one but the longer you leave it the harder it will become.
