My husband has three addictions and I feel trapped at age 64.

Have you considered leaving him. Nothing wrong with living on your own.

If you try CBT they'll tell you that nothing will change unless you change it BUT they fail to point out that sometimes there are constraints - financial, moral, logistical etc which prevent you from doing this. And what if you do change things and then find out things are no better but can't afford to change again! Again what are the addictions and why has he got them?

Are they just harmless hobby type addictions or something more serious ?

What is he addicted to? Have you spoken to an advice counsellor. They can help families as well as the addict.
