Looking for a cruise companion - are you interested?

Anyone (lady or gentleman) interested in sharing a cabin on a small ship cruise, Saga preferably? ( no children) I live near Basingstoke if you want to meet up to talk about where and when. I am a happy energetic pensioner, as companions we would be independent, perhaps meet for dinner ...?

Cruise shared cabin, fly or no fly, on small ship. Saga new one, Spirit of Discovery really appeals.

I am looking for a like minded female travel buddy to do the second half of the CMV World Cruise leaving on 6 Jan. I would be looking to board in Sydney on 25th Feb as I have done the first half of the itinerary twice before. I like a drink, play bridge and enjoy a good laugh. Anyone interested as I can’t afford it without sharing?

Hi Kate

I do quite a lot of cruises but have not done a river cruise for many years. I think the boats may have improved since then. Let me know who it is with, and when and I'll have a look.

I am looking for a companion for a Rhine river cruise I have booked next July. There are three single cabins still available. It is for seven days. I am in my seventies, still very active and although not afraid do things solo I do not like being the only single person which sometimes happens. My past companions are now unable to travel. I like the great outdoors, painting, music, animals and canal boats. I live near Bristol. Please get in touch for more info

I am looking for a cruise companion to share the cost of the cabin as to go solo its just too expensive. I am a 58 years young non smoker and easy going. No strings attatched maybe meet up in the evening for dinner and possible excursions. I did meet a very nice gentleman on here last year and we had a wonderful 24 day cruise so i know its possible to find a suitable person to share with.
I am only interested in no fly cruising and would love to find someone who would be interested in in a two ship 38 day cruise to the Bahamas, new york and canada leaving in June 2018.
Would be happy to hear from any future cruise mates.
I dont know if i am allowed to leave my e mail address but here goes as its easier for me to reply direct via e mail than on the site.
[email protected].

Really hoping to hear from you cruisers out there.

Hi Elaine
I'd be up for it if you would be happy to share with a relative stranger. I was actually looking at the Caribbean in Otober but there are others that could be of interest as long as it's not Western Europe. If I have to fly long haul I'd want to upgrade to economy plus, World Traveller Plus or whatever the airline calls it. I'm a 65 year old widower living near Oxford. The new Saga ship will have a relatively large number of single cabins but I don't think that is due until 2019.

Hello people! Have you ever wanted to go on a cruise? Are you put off by the Single Person Supplement? I have been really fortunate to enjoy many cruises, on small ships...if you fancy one and have about £2500- £3000 to go on one of a lifetime, and avoid the dreaded Single Person supplement...let me know, I can match your budget expenditure, and some.

Hi Elaine
My wife and I used to cruise a lot when she was alive, but she died 19th December 2013, I keep on looking at the cruises and have thoughts of taking another one, but it puts me off going on my own, and going with a friend sounds a good idea, would be pleased to talk to you about it.
Kindest regards
Francis
