Looking to connect and make new friends
Watch this postHi everyone. Having watched Jim Carey’s movie ‘Yes’ awhile back and sadly lost my best friend to cancer last year I decided to take the plunge and try something new - hence signing up for Silversurfers.
I like walking, eating, science, art, reading and generally learning about new things. I am looking to make new friends and stimulate my brain.
Having grown up children and an emptying nest it’s time I filled my life with things for me and enjoy my life rather than dread older age.
Looking forward to hearing from like-minded souls.

Must admit my Christmas list is mainly full of books and I swear that in a previous life I must have been a librarian as I love books so much. I still like actual books - I haven't quite developed the same passion for Kindle and the like!

South Devon and near the sea - how lovely. That must make for some stunning walks around the coast? Especially during this second lockdown!
What types of music do you like apart from classical? Must admit I am a bit of a rock chick, but classical is nice to.
I am an aspiring artist - the word aspiring being the most true. I always liked art as a child, but somehow found my way into science and worked as a scientist for many years, but as I now have more time on my hands I am returning to trying my hand at art.
What about you?
