Is that saving money??
In summer we use a bucket in the shower to collect excess water when we shower each day.We then use this water for our garden/allotment.If I cook a roast dinner for example I make 4 dinners instead of 2.I then freeze the extra two to reheat in the microwave.I use this for alot of dinners,as it saves time and money, especially when you are working.
Walk or ride a bike into town if possible. Its better for your health and free.
Insulation
Insulation
Insulation
Now is the time to start, make sure that your loft is insulated to a higher standard than the minimum and then look at where you can make it better.
Where possible have cavity wall insulation installed, that can save you a fortune over time, if not look at other forms of interior insulation.
Stop trying to save pennies and try to save pounds.

whats your best tip tip saving money on cleaning materials. pet problems etc.
mine always have salt. vinegar and lemons in the kitchen you can use them for all sorts of thing.
seperatly or together.
my dog was scratching over the holiday, she had a salt and vinegar rinse before her normal shampoo and hasn't scratched once since.
I swear by them.( Its up to you if you try this works for me.)
The other thing I do, much to my daughters consternation, is whilst walking, shopping ect I automatically scan the floor, particularly around shops, for dropped coins and in the last 3 weeks I've picked up over £6.00, 3 1pound coins, 3 50 pence pieces and various silver and bronze coins, it all mounts up and I put it into a pot in my kitchen and now that's over half full, I cant understand peoples attitude do they have so much they can throw it away............my hubby says oh its only pennies and 2 pence pieces but as I say it all mounts up.
The other thing people can do is to put their odd pennies into one of those money box tins that you have to use a can opener to get at the money, I've got two one with bronze in and one with silver (5p's) in you'll be surprised how fast they fill up and you don't miss the coins
