Mortgages

My daughter who is a British citizen having been born and studied in UK. After graduation and working for a few years in UK, she went on a backpacking holiday. Eventually she ended up in Australia and started working in Australia for the last 3 years. She always worked in London. She would like to buy a property in London. She is extremely happy in Australia and doesn't yet know when she will return to UK. What options if any does she have re buying a property in the UK? Can anybody throw some light on this subject please. She will be able to pay 20% deposit.

Has your daughter talked to a bank in Australia. There is the small posibility she could find the other 80% there.
