My own intro

I go by lead-foot, and even though I'm age 82, I used some of my mis-spent youth as a street-rodder, and somehow managed to live through that time.

Joined the U.S. Army right out of high-school, did stints as both a tanker and field-artilleryman, got married, (still have the same lovely lady after 62 years!) went through far too many jobs, from auto repo-man to newspaper ad salesman and columnist, to insurance agent and retired as a dairy inspector for the State of Indiana where I still reside.

My hobbies are Free Masonry. gardening, cooking, home-brewing and drinking of beer, and philately (always sounds a little obscene-just stamp-collecting.)

My wife & I have cruised over a lot of this old globe, from the Caribbean to Alaska, the Panama canal and So. America, the Mediterranean from Malta to France Spain & Italy, oh, and just three years ago, we did a fly-in & bus tour of Ireland-8 days all the way 'round, and just loved it-the scenery was gorgeous and the people were great. Had so much fun swapping dirty jokes in the pubs-and I know a bookful!

Anyway, that's about it -we're waiting for a Covid vaccine so we can get out & live life again like everyone else. Let's keep our finger crossed-eh?
