My Personal Difficulties

I've just joined this site. On the 22nd May I'll have achieved 73 years. My life has had more unusual challenges than most because I was born with Gender Dysphoria. I had corrective surgery in 2008 and now just get on with life...but....how many of you would be comfortable with me ?

I was a psychiatric nurse so I'd probably be comfortable with you, unless you have character traits I abhor .... you probably got a great tale to share

I would have no problem and agree with Seaside woman that you are very brave to have overcome such difficulties.

Hi Penn,

I don't mean to be disrespectful, but why did you leave it so late to have corrective surgery?

If I forget to come back on the 22nd - hope you'll have a very nice birthday.

I have no problem. You obviously have had much to overcome in our often judgemental society. I think you are very brave, well done for being true to yourself.

I would not have a problem. Congratulations on having to get through 73 years in a society that is often ignorant and prejudice. Well done you for overcoming such lack of understanding over the years.
