Watch this postHi. I've never joined a group and a bit out of my depth how it works.
Seems a lot of people are from/based in UK - I've only glanced at 12 postings. I'm in Oz (the land so far from anywhere) but open to anyone making contact.

Nurturing a safe environment
Our Silversurfers community is designed to foster friendships, based on trust, honesty, integrity and loyalty and is underpinned by these values.
We don't tolerate swearing, and reserve the right to remove any posts which we feel may offend others... let's keep it friendly!
My biggest fear is that I might not find work if I return and as the cost of living in Australia (I was last there just over a month ago) is much higher than here, it makes the prospect of relocating rather scary.
At the moment though my thoughts are with those affected by the bushfires and my heart breaks at the loss of all the precious wildlife, especially the koalas who can't move as quickly as other species.
As an aside, if anyone else happens to be reading this, I've just donated to the Port Macquarie Koala Hospital in the hope I can do some good via their GoFundMepage.
