Passwords
Watch this postPasswords are very often the bane of surfers everywhere. You can end up with needing hundreds of passwords. So how do you remember them all? Here is an easy way to remember your passwords no matter how many you have. Each will be different and secure. example 1: (pick two names) TomandAnn Because full words are broken easier then change some letters for numbers. So TomandAnn might become T0mand4nn. You could make it even more secure (though some sites won't accept it) by changing it to T0m&4nn 2) Take you address, e.g. 75 Some Lane, Village, Bucks AB12 7SU from that a memorable password could be all the first letters: 75SlvbAS127su it looks complicated but it is basically your address. Using either of these methods (or your own variation) just add onto the end wherever the password is for. Ebay, Amazon, Tesco, Facebook etc. So from example 1) a typical password would be T0m&4nnAsda or T0m&4nnSilversurfers. You will never use the same password twice and each password is easy to remeber, unique and quite secure.

I have done similar for Ageuk in the past, am not qualified, but pass on what I have learned.
Good advice re passwords, but I THINK even better (only my opinion) is this explanation, and it may help next poster Redskin.
1-the text book tells us, a different PW for each site we visit.
2-dont write them down.
3- we all know that is impossible to do.
I use this method which is similar to yours......think of a phrase you wont forget, and remember, most sites insist you include a number and at least 1 upper case, try this example >>>>>
I joined the silver surfers site today at 2pm then take the first letter of each word which becomes this >>>Ijtsssta2p
so you have a capital I and a number, the examples you can use are numerous and easy to remember>>>> i have 3 grandchildren Aged 3, 4 and 6>>>> ih3gA34a6
