Hello, hope everyone is coping with the lockdown. Can anyone tell me if they have received a letter from the Pension department telling them how much their new state pension is from April 2021?

I have received a letter from the tax office telling me how much tax I will be paying for the year but nothing about my new monthly rise in pension. These departments are always so slow to give out information.

Hello, what was the date you received it as you don't say.

DWP letter dated 20/02/2021 and HMRC dated January 2021 but no postmark on either so don't know when they were delivered.

I would like to know why there aren't any dates against comments or comments received. It states two days ago, but does that mean two days after the first person commented, which could be four weeks ago.

I've received letters from HMRC and DWP re the increase - nothing to get excited about especially as my Council Tax increase takes at least 50% of the pension increase away and car insurance increase will take the rest! Could be worse though - at least there was a small increase in the state pension 🙂

Just thought I would let you know that I received a letter from DWP about my pension increase, in the post this morning.
