Places I wish to see

I wish to see the Scottish Highlands before the tourists arrive from every corner of the world.


I love quiet places where the land is cared for and nature is highly regarded as something sacred and irreplaceable.

If you really want to go to quiet place in Scotland try the Shetland Isles not much in mountains but very piecefull. Lerwick is the buisest place but even then it is quiet and relacking.

If you can, just do as my late husband and I used to do. Avoid week-ends. Put a can of juice or lager and a sandwich in a bag with a good Landranger map, park the car and just walk, away from the crowds at beauty spots. It is surprising what you can find . In Scotland and elsewhere there is peace and quiet and beautiful places to be found. If you see a quiet road turn off the main road and explore the lanes, but Please take your empties and stuff home, we do not want to have to pick up after you!!!.
