Post Menopause/Estrogen

I recently turned 53 and I have not had a period for a little over 4 years.

My doctor prescribed estrogen which I’ve been on go 1 week. I feel like I’m going to start my period again with terrible cramping and pain in my ovaries. It would be great to have a forum to chat with others about how they have or are dealing with the lack of estrogen and its effects and any natural ways through herbs and diets. Also how to deal with decreased sex drive. Hope this isn’t too personal. I’m new to this and have never been in a forum before. Thank you

I used & use Serenity. It is natural. Takes a few cycles for symptoms to ease. But flushes stopped & never had sex drive problems. Lots of friends use it with good results

I've just turn 50 and going through the menopause I found that cutting out caffeine and alcohol has help with hot flushes.

I think most things doctors often prescribe and advise things that are no good, I believe human growth hormone works, although it would probably be a case of buying online, I have some that I left in the USA, the stuff I saw on UK websites may not be much good, I took resveratrol for a while, I am not sure whether it did anything, Human growth hormone does improve libido.
