Retirement homes
Watch this postHaving known several couples who have decided that when they retired they decide to scale down and move to a retirement home. For some, many of these places have just about everything they need, such as communal rooms, laundry rooms as well as dining rooms, and the recreation facilities, and in a very nice surroundings. The cost of moving to these places isn't cheap as there are other charges such as service charges which covers all the costs of repairs or maintenance, some of which can cost an extra several thousand pounds a year, all of which is extra to the cost of buying an apartment. So a move in the senior years for some, can be daunting and so looking into the cost of not only selling up and moving to a nice new home and in a new area, is some thing that needs serious consideration. Like everything in this world making the dream come true for many people is really really nice, but at a cost. What are your views on retirement homes?

Retirement village...not sure that would be for us.
