Nurturing a safe environment
Our Silversurfers community is designed to foster friendships, based on trust, honesty, integrity and loyalty and is underpinned by these values.
We don't tolerate swearing, and reserve the right to remove any posts which we feel may offend others... let's keep it friendly!
Inevitably, the tents leaked, the blankets became wet and smelly, there was an outbreak of diarrhoea and many of the girls begged to be allowed to go home.
I arrived home covered in midge and horse fly bites, with a mild form of trench foot. The only good thing about the experience was the sheer joy our dog showed when I landed home.
