The day after grows ever closer hope is on the horizon.Future plans are under review. Meanwhile we play the waiting game.

Won't it be lovely to get back to normality, to smile at people and laugh with them again doing simple things, like going about your shopping. Go to the theatre again or a sports event. Most important of all be able to hug your kids and grandkids again.

I haven't seen my parents for a year so I would jump on a plane as soon as possible.

I think that's the tragedy of this terrible virus, its split families apart and made people feel so very lonely

Your right loneliness is terrible and it effects all generations. Little children are not getting the social interaction with friends and therefore their social skills are not developed prior to attending nursery.People working from home may have their zoom meetings but they miss out on the general chit chat that breaks up the day.
Then there are those of us that are not across skpe or zooming .
Hopefully people will have a better appreciation of each other when they are able to see their friends and family again ,but I know that'.s an opptomistic view

I've been out dog walking in a favourite spot today and obviously because of the ideal conditions, it was rammed, but you're right children and parents treating each other as lepers, rightly so, so sad to see though.

I always thought a balloon flight would be great but they reckon you can wait ages for the right conditions and then have to go at short notice, is that true

I expect that's right but stangely that day a balloon came over Dumfries low enough to see the people inside fortunately it gained hieght again.Maybe I should come up with an alternative I'm open to suggestions !!

Dumfries and Galloway would be a lovely part of the UK to Hot Air Balloon, the midlands is quite built up but there is still some stunning scenery, The other option I've thought of for my 'bucket list' is a flight in a glider, may also be slightly warmer. let's hope this wretched virus is soon behind us and we're back to normal

Really not that different. We live in the country so Covid has not really impacted us. Obviously we wear masks but apart from that life carries on quite normally. Pubs opened up a few weeks ago and restaurants are open. First thing would be to book flights to see grandchildren in Uk and Netherlands.

I'd give it a week or two to establish that it was really true that it had disappeared and then be thankful I had the opportunity to make decisions about the future . A holiday to see my sister would be top of the agenda and then a trip in a hot air baloon.

It seems so long since we could have a proper family gathering, My eldest girls 50th passed without a proper celebration. I know people have lost much more due to this horrendous virus, but its as you say MossyStone you can't beat a fun time with your family.

I think I'd have a family gathering, either for a meal or better still take them on holiday all together. I cant believe one nation can inflict so much tragedy and despair on the rest of the world. I avoid wherever possible purchasing anything with components made in China, now.
