The Very Rude Parrot

A friend of mine was given a very rude parrot for Christmas. It had belonged to his uncle who ran a pub but was now retiring. The new landlord didn't want the bird as he wished to encourage a better class of customer. This bird had sat in the public bar for years and had picked up many bad habits ... My friend set the cage up in the corner and the bird squawked; Not here stupid ... I can't see the telly ... Shocked but amused he moved the cage as requested and then opened his other presents ... the bird regarded them and commented; What a load of rubbish, they must think you're easy to please ... No longer amused he moved the parrot into the spare room, his parents were coming round for Christmas day dinner and were easily offended. When everyone had gone home and he had cleared up he brought the parrot back and told it to behave itself. The bird was quiet for a while and they both watched the telly for a bit, eventually the bird shouted; I can't watch this ... find something decent to watch ... My friend turned off the telly and walked up to the cage, with a steely gaze he regarded the parrot and said ... Either you behave or I shall put you and your cage outside in a cold dustbin ... The bird hesitated then screamed; You and who's army? Within seconds the bird was dumped in a dustbin in the back yard. Half an hour later my friend went out to the dustbin and lifted the lid ... Are you going to behave ? The bird was shivering and frightened and replied; Yes yes ... just get me out of here ... Back inside an hour later the bird inquired softly and politely; Can I ask you one little question ? But of course my friend, what is it ? What did the turkey in the dustbin do to upset you, it must have been really bad ???

It should be freezer, and not dustbin, I mean, who puts a turkey in a dustbin?

As it is just after the mans Christmas dinner with his parents the skeleton of the turkey was in the dustbin ...
