Toe in the water.... hope it's warm !
Watch this postHiya folks. I'm a single female living in a rambling old farmhouse, shared with a cat ( not mine ), a dog ( mine ) a couple of free spirits - wild Barn Owls and in season multiple hedgehogs. And a fox - well I feed him but never see him or her.
So human interaction would be good. I'm a night owl and don't join in with people till the PM, just like slowly taking in what the day has to offer.
Life - graphic designer originally, then extreme career change - civil service then another extreme - fashion shop - then working with teenagers followed by having a family then joining the family business, sold the business, retired, widowed.
Me now - fit & active, enjoy photography, a crafter, jewellery making, being outdoors, being outdoors especially in the sun, wildlife, people, learning, travel and more sunshine. So HELLO !

Your life sounds so interesting! I have retired 6 months ago from civil service so should go back to work still but had a couple of death defying problems with my health and am taking a year out. My boys are gown up away from me and I visit them and am involved with them. I always have been very active and am into fine arts, languages, science and travelling.
Would love to exchange stories over a cuppa of hot choc 🙂

Great that you are taking some downtime to get back into the swing of things !
I'm in the process of downsizing from a 300y/o farmhouse with 11 acres to a wee detached house in the next village. So all the work has been done on the 'wee hoose' and I have run out of excuses to just get started clearing 40 years worth of accumulated junk. So posting is very intermittent but thank you for replying ... and I am here, just in the middle of a black bin bag pile 🙂
