Travelling Companion
Watch this postI found Silversurfers when contemplating whether I would ever go on holiday again after losing my husband suddenly in 2015. It was such a shock & has left me having to work until I eventually retire, so as you can imagine, I'm not exactly well off. I then wondered if there were others out there in the same predicament, being on their own, wanting a holiday or short break now & again but being solo & not willing to go it alone? Whether that person is abled or disabled, would like to travel with someone who is a good listener, likes reading, walking & exploring new cultures, I am open to discover my new single self & make friends. I'm not one for being in peoples pockets & know that sometimes, when away, we all like time alone as well as have a companion to go sightseeing or dining out with. I will be 60 this year (I really can't believe how time has flown by), am very young at heart & have a handful of friends aged 33 - 75. I love hearing about peoples lives, loves & interests, so if you are in a similar situation, would like to chat, make friends with a view to perhaps one day travel, please do get in touch.
