Ukulele

I have been playing the Ukulele for 5 years now. I had no previous musical knowledge. We have a very lively and friendly local group which is part of a larger organisation called Go Ukulele Crazy. I now own three different Ukes. This particular hobby has seen me through some rough times abd I would thoroughly recommend anyone to try it.

I have been part of a U3A ukulele group for a year so have been learning the chords and trying to use different strumming patterns. We give concerts to various organisations such as care homes and church groups. Did anyone have lessons from a professional tutor, if so can anyone recommend someone in Hertfordshire?

How odd, I was in Chester yesterday and saw guitars and Ukulele for sale. It got me wondering if Ukuleles were difficult to learn. I'm completely useless with instruments but always admire people who can play any instrument. I've always wished I could play something and with retirement approaching, I just wish.
