Hi everyone, I’m recently widowed after 50yrs married, and feeling a bit lonely on my own now, I’m very active normally down the gym most days when not in lockdown, just here for a chat with hopefully a female in the same position as me.

Hi Archie91, I have been on silversurfers for some time but not really got involved much. I lost my partner 2 years ago and although I used to go to the gym before lockdown, I also go for walks and try to keep busy but it is still lonely and people don,t seem to realise your situation. It would be good to have a chat and see how much we have in common.

I know how you feel Archie, this pandemic has made it all so much worse for those of us widowed or alone. What part of the country are you from. I am missing two holidays this year because of the virus.like many others.

Hello Archie,I too am recently widowed after 39 years, I just joined today as I feel very alone, and there doesn't seem to be any facilities to chat to others who have had a recent loss, only dating sites I hope to join in the chats here and make new friends.
